Mr. Frankie Joe Walker, born on May 11, 1939 in Paris, Texas, to the late Cecelia Walker and the late Matt Walker, passed away at age 79 on August 20, 2018 in Carrollton, Texas.Joe served in the Marine Corps from 1958 to 1962 and he also was in the retail business for over 42 years and worked along side his son in the Army Navy store.Joe was the loving husband of Joan Walker. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Jo Walker; brothers, Fred Walker and Wayne Walker; and sister, Sandra Burkhalter. Joe is survived by his son, Brad Walker; daughters, Tammy Keith and husband Kim, Teresa Holk, Julie Lackten and husband Kurt, and Sandy Walker; grandchildren, Kandis Walker, Clay Holk, Maggie Holk, Orion Keith, Sophie Keith; and Kennedy Lackten and great-grandchild Kynzlea Walker along with numerous nieces and nephews.He had a passion for horses and owned race horses for many years.
