Jessie William Wallace of Farmers Branch, Texas passed away on August 4, 2015. He was 79 years old. He was born to William Aaron and Zadie Elizabeth Wallace on March 5, 1936 in Wills Point, Texas. He married his beautiful bride, Rebecca Ruth, on August 3, 1957 in Dallas Texas. They had 49 wonderful and happy years together until her death on September 11, 2006. As time passed, he would come to meet Gladys Langlois, ultimately bringing him happiness again and filling his life with love once more. They married on October 23, 2009. He was a chrome polisher for many years before he retired. He was a gardener and spent the biggest part of his days outside. A wonderful husband, daddy and grandpa, he will be missed by all. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Zadie Wallace, wife, Rebecca Wallace , daughter, Cindy Wallace, and brothers, James, Bill, and David Wallace. Jessie is survived by his wife, Gladys Wallace, daughter and son in law, Carol and Mike Smith, daughters Amy Wallace and Zahira Rodriguez, grandsons, Joshua, Jacob and Preston Smith and granddaughter, Lillian King, sister and her husband, Leita and Pat Macken of Houston, Texas, and brothers and sisters in law, J.B and Dell Wallace and Robert and Linda Wallace, all of Wills Point, Texas, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation is set for Thursday,August 6, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234. Funeral Service to be heldat 11:00am on Friday,August 7, 2015in the Brooks Family Chapel of theNorth Dallas Funeral Home. Interment following at Hilltop MemorialPark, 1810 North Perry Road, Carrolton Texas 75006. Reverend Dewey Lang will beofficiating.
