Wanda Estelle Peterson Jackson was born on September 18, 1956, in Billings, Montana, to Marlin and Elizabeth (Fast) Peterson and passed away on August 31, 2024, in Carrollton, Texas. She was a devoted mother and loving wife, known for her conscientiousness of others, kindness, and engaging personality.

Wanda was a talented professional who worked in accounting and banking while dedicating herself to homemaking. Her proudest accomplishment was raising her children and instilling in them the values of kindness and compassion. She found joy in traveling, picnics, and spending time outdoors, often indulging in her love for movie musicals and observing the world around her.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Marlin and Elizabeth Peterson and Carl Peterson (brother). She is survived by her beloved husband, Curtis Jackson, her former spouse, Jerry Stein, and her cherished children: Crystal Garza (husband Gilberto), Sheri Remore (husband James) and Scott Stein (wife Michelle). She was a devoted grandmother to McKinley, Ryleigh, and James Remore, as well as Carmela Garza.

She leaves behind her siblings, Sandra Peterson Behnke and Wayne (wife Lorri) Peterson, sister in-law, Rebecca Peterson, numerous nieces and nephews and will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Wanda's legacy of love and generosity will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family and friends.
