James Wilkerson of Farmers Branch, Texas, died May 17, 2012. He was 71 years old.James was born June 3, 1940, in Knox County, Tennessee, to Stonewall and Minnie Cox Wilkerson. A hard-working and loyal employee, he was a production supervisor for a plastic extrusion company.James loved hunting, fishing and sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and University of Tennessee Volunteers. He liked all types of music and enjoyed going on road trips.James is survived by his sons, Mike Wilkerson and wife, Patricia, and Dale Wilkerson and wife, Angilee; daughter, Melissa Smith; brother, Don Taylor of Sierra Vista, Arizona; and four grandchildren, Stefan Wilkerson, Kayla Smith, Lauren Smith and Joy Crisostomo.A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012, at 1 p.m. in the Brooks Family Chapel at North Dallas Funeral Home.Please send family condolences and sign the guestbook on this website.
