Charles Tony Williams, died peacefully in the arms of his wife on June 4, 2019. Tony was born in Columbus, Georgia on August 8, 1943 to Army Lt. Jack and Hetty Williams. Soon after his birth, Jack and Hetty returned to their Texas roots. Tony grew up in Irving until high school when the family which now included brother Steve moved to Farmers Branch. Tony followed his dad and joined the Army. He was an Army MP. Afterwards, Tony attended North Texas studying art however, his restless nature and love of golf led him to a career in air freight giving him flexibility to play his beloved game of golf.He made his desired hole-in-one shot in 2009. Tony loved the freedom of the open road. Tonys dad died from a heart attack at 52 and Tony lost his brother Steve to cancer in his late 20s. Tony then dedicated himself to the care of his mom after her stroke. At 52 years of age, Tony decided to open his life to another person who would wrap him in love until his very last breath.
