Rev. Alton Eland Willingham of Duncanville, Texas went to be with his heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the age of 80. Alton was born in Snyder Texas on August 3, 1935.He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Shirley;children,Kenneth Willingham and wife, Lydia; Laura Green and husband, Kent; Lisa Huffstuttler and husband, Dwayne; Jennifer Willingham; Herbert Francis and wife, Lori; DeeDee Miller and husband, Bobby; his 13 grandchildren; Charles, Amanda, Cassandra, Colton, Michael, DLisa, Melissa, Kaileyann, Stephen, Christopher, Brianna, Andrew and Kristi; his 19 great grandchildren;brothers, Bill, Jack, Chip, TJ and Kenny andsisters, Delaine Clifton and Louella McCorkle.Alton proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1956-1960.He served our passed away in the ministry pastoring Temple Missionary Baptist Church for forty years. He retired from the ministry in 2014. He also retired from Magellan Pipeline in 2014.Throughout his life he was dedicated to his Lord, his family and his many friends. During his ministry he led many souls to Christ. He also had exemplary work ethics. He was a wonderful husband and daddy and a great provider for his family.Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.Celebration of Life Service will be on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 11:00 am at First Missionary Baptist Church, 511 Hustead Street, Duncanville, Texas 75116.Interment, with military honors, will be at 1:15 pm at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
