Virginia Mae Wilson of Farmers Branch passed away on Monday, February 6, 2012 of heart failure. She was 85.She was born on January 30, 1927 to Mildred Marie House West and Benjamin Franklin West in Houston, Missouri. She graduated from Cleburne High School.On January 20, 1956 she married Billie E. Wilson. She lived in Farmers Branch since 1956 where she attended Valley View Baptist Church and was a faithful servant of the Lord; she was the church secretary for the past 35 years.She loved to read and travel. She also loved to crochet. She made afghan blankets for RHD Memorial Hospital and most recently for Medical City Dallas Hospital.She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Billie E. Wilson of Farmers Branch; son, Ben F. Wilson and daughter-in-law, Sandra Wilson of Cleburne; daughter, Caroline M. Pallitta and son-in-law, Pat Pallitta of Farmers Branch; grandson, Michael Pallitta; sister-in-law, Glenna West of Cleburne; niece, Karen Owens and her husband, David Owens of Mineral Wells; niece, Linda Gerber and her husband, Gary Gerber of Arkansas; a great niece and 2 great nephews.She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin West; mother, Mildred West and brother, Richard F. West.In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Valley View Baptist Church for the purchase of Gideon Bibles.Visitation will be on Friday, February 10, 2012 from 6-8 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 10:00 am at Valley View Baptist Church, 3108 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.Please send the family condolences and sign the guest book on this website.
