Obituary

Brandi Lee Wisinger of Plano, Texas passed away peacefully at home on Thursday March 1st, 2018 at the age of 40 after a six-month battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Saturday March 10th, 2018 at 2:00pm in the auditorium at The Church of Christ on McDermott Road in Plano, TX. Brandis memorial will be presided over by Church of Christ McDermott minister Mark Bryson.The family will receive friends and family prior to and directly after the service.

Brandi was born in Terrell, Texas on August 29, 1977 to Steve and Kalene Tackett.She was raised in Athens and attended Athens schools through her junior year where she participated in youth development group 4-H and high school drill team.Brandis family moved to Plano where she attended Allen High School and graduated in 1995. She continued her education at Steven F. Austin State University and earned her Microsoft MCSE certification while working at Electronic Data Systems. Brandi completed her 15-year career in IT working as a network administrator at Employers Comp Associates (acquired by Great American Insurance Company in 2015).

Brandi married the love of her life and best friend Norman in 2007 and birthed two beautiful children, daughter Emma in 2008 and son Aiden in 2012.

Brandi loved barrel racing horses, wing shooting, deer hunting, fly fishing, fast cars, great music, adventuring around Texas with her kids and husband and relaxing in the backyard with family and friends. Brandi LOVED life!

Brandi was preceded in death by her mother and her grandfather.Left to cherish her memory are her husband Norman, their children Emma and Aiden, her father, grandmother, sister, niece and nephew.
