Carol Spigel Zimmerman passed away peacefully on January 8, 2017 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Rose Spigel, her husband of many years Harry Zimmerman, and her sister in law Sandra.She is survived by her brother Tom Spigel of Dallas, TX, her son Joseph (Marsha) Zimmerman of Tucson, AZ, daughter Shirley (Tom) Bailey of Waxahachie, TX, her beloved grandsons, William (Blacey) Bailey, Nathan (Amanda) Zimmerman, and Zachary Bailey, her nephew Jonathan (Kim) Spigel and their children Rebecca and Claire, and her niece Sheryl Spigel.Carol was born in Dallas, Texason November 12, 1931. Her grandsons were the delight of her life. She loved reminiscing about her working days, she loved driving her car, sitting outside feeding the birds her leftover bread, and reading. She was a longtime member of Congregation Tiferet Israel, and her faith was of the utmost importance in her life.Graveside servicewill beheld at 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 4634 Dolphin Road, Dallas, Texas 75223.
