Obituary of
Low, Ellen Maxine Rice
Ellen Maxine Rice Low passed away into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Monday, September 1, 2014. Ellen was born and raised in Liberty, MO and attended William Jewel College there. She later attended University of Texas at Arlington where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and later achieved her CPA certification. She enjoyed a very successful career in the oil and gas industry until she retired in 2006. Ellen held the rank of brown belt in Judo and at one time had her own Judo club. She is survived by her loving husband, Steven R. Finck; her children; Denise Rice, Bill Low and Carter Low as well as two brothers; Doug Rice and Chuck Rice. Memorial Service will be Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 11:00 am at United Methodist Church, 9033 Ft. Worth Drive, Argyle, Texas 76226 In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made in her memory to Harris Methodist HEB ICU where she received outstanding and compassionate care.
