With your voice and smile in mind, I recall your teachings about finances, building websites and furthering the Kingdom. What a faithful husband, father, friend and servant of God. Thank you for revealing to a young me that God has a sense of humor; that Christians can have fun and be saved at the same time. Thank you for teaching me how to tithe properly. And thank you and Ms Janice for parenting me when I was so far away from home; you covered me as I discovered who I am in Christ. I’m sure your smile is lighting up Heaven. What a joy it must be to walk into the welcoming arms of Jesus; the one you’ve bragged to the whole world about. Heaven will never be the same – nor will we, because of the life of Douglas Dawson.
My prayers are with the Dawson Family. As you grieve, please know that so many people have come to Christ because of your family. You are currently walking in your purpose and living out a rich legacy. And even now, in the midst of your sorrow, you are witnessing to others.

Janice when I read this poem I thought of you and the children. May it be a comfort to you.
“God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; Courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardship as the pathway to peace, Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it, Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.”
Love and praying for you, Diane, Uncle Ed and the Family. Hope to see you soon
