There comes a time in life when it’ time to say good bye. Like that first I do in the beginning life is a journey. You walk a path of happiness together and you follow that winding road as far as you can travel. Enjoying the laughter, love and happiness. God gave us memories to hold on to the loved ones in our life who have passed. They never leave us because they live in our hearts forever. Bless you and your family during this time.

It saddens me to hear of Susie’s passing. Susie was always one who did so much for everyone else. Always a smile. Our thoughts and prayers to Richard and Rachel, Aunt Janet and the rest of the family.

On behalf of many of Richard’s co-workers here at Vought, we are all very saddened by Susie’s passing. Through Richard, we experienced the day to day “ups and downs” of their three year odyssey. The courage and faith they displayed profoundly influenced many of us in postive life-affirming ways. May God look over this family and help Richard travel “the last mile” of this journey…and in the end bring him peace.

Susie will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was such a kind loving person and always wanted to help anyone whenever she could. She planned our wedding and made a beautiful cake , all the flowers , and so much more. That was 35 years ago. She was such a planner and loved decorating. She kept Fundamental Baptist walls decorated for many years. She loved making flower arrangements as well. She would always take all of our children to the movies on New Years Day. She loved being around all children . I was always proud to call her family . I will forever cherish the paintings she did for Roger and I. It still hangs on our wall. The holidays with the family will never be the same. I know she is finally at peace and happily reunited with her wonderful father and my uncle Ed, our grandma Etta, her mother inlaw and aunt Mary and so many more who have gone before us. I can just see them reuniting. Praying for you aunt Janet, Richard, Rachel, Julie and Mary. May The Lord give you strength and you find peace in knowing she has gone to a better place. Love you all.
