Delle and Mac went out of their way to stop by and visit relatives in South Texas. They were generous with their time and sincerely caring.

Thank you Mary Smith for calling me.
I remember Delle and her mother Lillian from the time
I was six years old – ( I’m 86 now) . Both Delle & her mother were high spirited and a lot of fun to be around.
On internet EMAIL exchanges Delle & I seemed to have a similar sense of humor and political view and I will miss her.
My condolences to all of Delle’s family and GOD bless.

When I first met Delle, she had rather exciting red hair. After I got to know her, I decided that was the look she was going for — exciting! She was an excellent cook, an expert seamstress and one smart cookie, having earned a “late-in-life” degree in nutrition/dietetics. I will always admire her will to survive and will remember the sound of her laughter. If there is a “Texas mansion in the sky,” that’s where you will find Mama Delle. May she rest in peace
