Esquivel, Josefina


Josefina “Fina” Esquivel of Dallas, Texas formely a Brownsville, Texas resident, died peacefully in her home on Thursday, December 18, 2014. She was 91 years old.

She was a long time resident of Dallas having moved in 1985 to be closer to her children.

Fina was born October 12, 1923 in Waco, Texas to Jose and Frances Casiano.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Esquivel and grandson, Aaron David Coach.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Coach; son, Manny Esquivel; grandchildren, Adam Esquivel, Amanda Cates, Brian Esquivel, Betsy Coach-Jubera, and Deborah Coach-Hawey.

At the time of her death, she had 5 great-grandchildren, Tristan Griffin, Lillian Munn, Madeline Munn, Evelyn Esquivel and MacKenzie Cates.

A graveside was held on December 23, 2014 at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in Mesquite, Texas.

Services were entrusted to North Dallas Funeral Home.
