Obituary of Douglass, Dallas Amason

Dallas Amason Douglass, 45, of Abilene, Texas passed from us on February 12th, 2015. He was born to Glenn Arthur Douglass and Diane Bennett Naylor on October 6th, 1969. Dallas lived his life in Dallas, TX, which he always found amusing. He worked as a process server, but he was most passionate about his role as a father. He was a jovial man with profound compassion for those around him: the type of person who would compliment a stranger on the street just to rouse a smile. He was a humble man with great pride for his children and his many puppies, and he possessed an unforgettable sense of humor. He is preceded in death by his beloved paternal grandparents, Horace and Faye Douglass.  Dallas is survived by his maternal grandmother, Vera Bennett, his parents, his brother, Brandon Douglass, his sister, Leisha Douglass, his sons, Jason Cody Douglass and Justin Bennett Douglass, his daughter, Ashley Renee Douglass, his granddaughter, Caroline, and by all of those who loved him so dearly. He will be sincerely missed and always remembered. Please send the family condolences on this website.

Heaven received a wonderful person. I am thankful that I had the pleasure of knowing him. I will miss his smile and laugh. He was a loving, compasionate person. My sympathy to his family and all those that he loved and left behind, including his dogs. The first time that I met him, he had his work partner, his dog with him. I knew instantly that he had a kind soul. I hope that he inspires us all to be kind to each other, as he was. I will miss him.
