Obituary of Gregory, Dorothy Loudell (Baughman)

Dorothy Loudell Gregory, 91, of Farmers Branch, Texas went to be with her Lord on April 17, 2015 with her family by her side.  She was born on September 29, 1923 in Hughes Springs, Texas to Archie and Annie Baughman. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Jerrell Gregory, their son, James Patrick Gregory, two brothers Bill Baughman and Buddy Baughman, and two sisters Lorene McCullough and Ann Damron. Dorothy is survived by two sisters, Johnnie Harrell and Wanda Madden, her daughter and son-in-law Jerrelyn and Kieth Ryals, one grandson, Jonathan, one granddaughter, Jamie, a loving sister-in-law Martha Baughman-Dial, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She retired from the Carrollton-Farmers Branch School District after 28 years as a lunchroom cashier.  She loved to cook and bake and there was never a time she would not have something sweet to eat whenever you stopped by.  She was a dedicated Christian, loyal friend, loving mother and grandmother.  She loved the outdoors and after retirement, her and her husband spent time traveling in their RV, fishing, and camping. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234. Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Farmers Branch, 13017 William Dodson Parkway, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234 on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 10:00am.  Interment immediately following at Restland Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas – Garden of the Last Supper. Please send the family condolences and/or share memories on this website.
