Mrs. Berres was quite an inspirational woman. She loved people and people loved her. She was thoughtful, generous, and gracious. I always will have fabulous memories of our neighborhood Halloweens, where Mrs. Berres sat on her porch dressed as a witch, cackling and stirring a smoking caldron. She even crashed my Halloween wedding, dressed, to my delight, as that very witch. She coordinated many parties and celebrations for my family; weddings, teas, retirement parties, etc. I could go on and on. Needless to say – she will be missed. My prayers go out to the family.

Our deepest condolences go out to my Uncle Darrell and his family. I remember Aunt Laverne fondly as a spunky, full of life lady with a lot of energy. She was so much fun to be around. I had always enjoyed listening to her stories when she and Uncle Darrell would come up to Wisconsin for a visit.
    Much Love,
    Beth, Bill, Brittney & Samantha
