December 26, 1933 - June 30, 2015
Larry Evans Thrasher, of Amarillo, Texas died Tuesday, June 30, 2015 in Holden Hands Care Home after a long fight with Alzheimer Disease. Born in Mississippi, December 26, 1933, to Everette and Allee Thrasher, Larry was a brilliant business man, owned and operated his own company, Larry Sign Company for over 50 years until he retired. Larry was an amazing bowler and fisherman; he was the bowling champion for five years straight. He was an avid outdoor adventurer and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and trips to the lake. If he wasn’t outside, Larry spent his days playing poker and dancing. His greatest achievement was raising his beautiful daughter, Arlinda and love for his family. He enjoyed his life to the fullest; living, loving and fighting like most do through both of his marriages with Sue and Vicki. Larry was a phenomenal man and would give any amount of money to those in need. He chose to live out his days in Amarillo, Texas for 60 years because he loved the people, his family and it was home for him.

When Tomorrow Starts With Out Me,
And I’m Not There To See,
If The Sun Should Rise And Find Your Eyes,
Filled With Tears For Me.
I Wish So Much You Wouldn’t Cry,
The Way You Did Today,
While Thinking Of The Many Things
We Didn’t Get To Say.
I Know How Much You Love Me,
As Much As I Love You,
And Each Time You Think Of Me,
I Know You’ll Miss Me Too.
When Tomorrow Starts Without Me,
Don’t Think We’re Far Apart,
For Every Time You Think Of Me,
I’m Right There In Your Heart.
