Louis J. Polito, July 1, 1922 – August 16, 2015 We celebrate the life of Louis J. Polito, 93, who passed away peacefully in the presence and love of his family. The youngest son of seven siblings – Lou settled in Texas with his wife Mary and their four children. He served in the US Army during World War II, and had an extensive career as a geo-chemist. A man of strong faith, Lou was humble, kind, intelligent and had a dry sense of humor. He was a dedicated member of Mary Immaculate Church, and was devoted to his family above all else. Thoughtful, quiet and young at heart, he loved spending time at home with his kids and grandkids, and watching sports on TV. He is preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of nearly 52 years, Mary, his parents, and four of his siblings. He is survived by his four children, Margie Polito, Cath Polito, Chris (Marge) Polito, and August (Carol) Polito and five grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00pm on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 2800 Valwood Parkway, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.    Interment will follow at the Calvary Hill Memorial Park, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220.  In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to Mary Immaculate Catholic Church (Farmers Branch).
