Obituary of Beckham, John Jacob (Jake)

John (Jake) Jacob Beckham of Dallas, Texas, age 90, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015.  Born in Dallas on, September 3, 1924 and raised in Brownsboro, TX, Beckham served in the Navy as a Supply Officer from 1942-1971. As a member of “the greatest generation”, Beckham served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam earning many medals and awards for his service. His 29-year career took him around the world and back several times. His loving wife of 53 years, Louise Brockhausen of San Antonio predeceased him in 2003. He is survived by daughter, Becky Rudy and husband, Allen, of Dallas, son, John Beckham of Austin and granddaughters Jocelyn Rudy Kovalenko and Katie Beckham; his sister, Mary Lou May of Lubbock and brother, Pat Beckham of Arlington as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was beloved by his family and friends and will be missed greatly. Aloha Jake. We love you!! Please send the family condolences and share memories on this website.
