Schlueter, William John "Bill"
William John "Bill Schlueter passed away on Friday, September 18, 2015 in Richardson, Texas at the age of 91.
Bill was born September 9, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois. He served in the Southwest Pacific in WWII and he was later on Occupation Duty in Japan. After the war, Bill graduated from De Paul University in Chicago. Soon after, he and his family moved to Denton, TX where he enrolled in the Masters Program at the University of North Texas. After receiving his MBE the family moved to Dallas where he spent 35 years with Employers Casualty Insurance Company. Bill has lived in Richardson since the mid 1970’s.
Bill is preceded in death by his brother, Richard. He is survived by his wife, Helen, and their son William James Schlueter of Dallas, daughter Karen Lively and her husband Jim of Dallas, son Eric Schlueter and his wife Sandy and granddaughters Janae and Kyra of Midlothian, Virginia.
The family will have a private burial service at the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetary.
