Obituary of Vogt, Sr., Dennis Lee

Dennis L. Vogt, Sr., 63, of Garland,  passed away, Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Baylor Medical Center at Garland with his family at his side.  He was born in Oshkosh, WI on July 18, 1952 to Marvin and Lucia Vogt.  Dennis was a long time over the road truck driver, accomplishing one million safe miles.  Dennis  enjoyed watching sports and other shows with his wife.  He also enjoyed woodworking, remodeling rooms, working in the yard, and spending time with his family and grandchildren here in Texas, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.  Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Carl Vogt. Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Debbie, son, Dennis, Jr. (Lisa) of Carrollton, TX and their children Erica, Jon and Sara;  step-son, Andrew Anderson of Duluth, MN, and his children Tyrone Feran, Lucas Hilton, Bryce Anderson, Jorden Anderson, and 2 great-grandchildren, Brian James Love and Peyton Rose Feran; brothers, Harland “Butch” (Carol) Vogt of Coloma, WI, and Lyle “Lefty” (Chris) Vogt of Longview, TX, and several nieces and nephews. Dennis was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Per Dennis’ wish, there will be no service.   Please send the family condolences and share condolences on this website.
