A)onto and I were stationed together in 5th Signal Command from 1988 til 1991. We participated in basketball and football representing our unit. We always had fun whether at work or at play. Many blessings to his family.

I was stationed with Woodard at 5th Signal Command in Worms Germany. He was like an older brother to me back in Germany. I learned many things from him about life and soldiering. I found him on Facebook several years ago. We lived less than 40 miles from each other but never found the time to have that drink and catch up. A good man left this world too soon. I am very sorry.

We were in the U.S. Army stationed together in South Korea and then again in Germany in the 5th Signal Command, I remember the crazy and good times we had over there, Alonzo used to cut up and crack jokes which made being around him fun. I remember this nickname he gave me, he used to call me little Ellie since I was the littlest one in the group, back then I thought I hated that name, but I wish I had the chance to hear him say it again now. He was a real and true friend that I never forgot and never will. I wish we had more time together. Knowing that I know he is in God’s hands now. Rest in Peace my Brother. Much love always.

Zo, me and my wife Laurie worked together at Allen and Associate’s for 8 years and a more stand up human being I have never met. He became a true friend and we often socialized after work with dinner or at a Mavs game. I just talked to him about 3 weeks ago and we were going to go to lunch and now he is gone. We would talk Mavs, his Redskins, or just about life in general. He always had a big smile on his face and always made me laugh and feel good about life. He will be deeply missed by me and my wife and he passed way too soon. God Speed Zo, Laurie and I loved you my friend.
