Obituary of Ricker, Mary Kay

Mary Kay Ricker, 77, from Dallas, TX passed away peacefully this November 26, 2015. A Memorial Mass will be held at Mary Immaculate Church in Farmers Branch on December 3rd at 10:30 followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. Mary Kay was born in Fort Madison, IA on October 29, 1938. She graduated from Burlington Catholic High School. Mary Kay met her husband, Miller, of 58 years in Los Angeles, CA. She worked as a medical secretary for several years and then owned an office supply store with her husband for 20 years. She also worked in the accounting department of RISD for many years. Mary Kay loved reading, watching movies, playing cards and spending time with her family. Mary Kay is preceded in death by her parents, Timothy and Bess; brothers Timothy and Michael Coakley: sister Pat Bowling; and daughter Kelly Holmes. Mary Kay is survived by her sisters Jean Lentz of Carlsbad, CA and Sue Lippold of Huntington Beach, CA; sons Clay, Quinn (Karen) and Adam (Priscilla) Ricker; daughters Stacy (David) Rhea, Holly (Todd) Kerr; and her grandchildren Tyler, Nikki, Channing, Carson, Cal, Chad, Alexandria, Catherine, Fletcher, Pauli, Miller and Charlotte. Mary Kay was an amazing mother and loved by all. We will miss her beautiful smile and loving spirit.
