Obituary of
Reed, Patrick Odie
Patrick Odie Reed of Dallas, Texas was born on April 4, 1954 to the late Odie Augustus Reed and the late Shirley Virginia Brett Reed. At the age of 61, he passed away in his Dallas home. He is survived by his two daughters, Ginger Manett and Jodie Rodriguez, as well as, his son Joseph Reed, and siblings Bob Fincanon, Barry Fincanon, Steve Reed, and Alyce Green, his three grandsons Michael, Alex, and Nathan, along with his many nieces and nephews. Patrick will be preceded in death by his beloved parents, and brother Bill Fincanon. As a young man, he joined the Army in 1974 where he served as a communication specialist. Patrick had a one of a kind sense of humor that generated many family memories. He enjoyed many different hobbies throughout his life which included golfing, camping, bowling, and gulf coast fishing. He mostly appreciated receiving hats for his collection of caps from over the years.
Services to honor Patrick’s memory will be held at the North Dallas Funeral Home at 2710 Valley View Lane in Farmers Branch as follows:
Viewing on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 10:00am
Memorial Services are directly after the viewing at 11:00am
Burial Services with military honors will be held the following day, on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 8:30am at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
