Hagen, Melissa Gay (Thompson)
The world lost an angel November 25, 2015 when Melissa Gay (Thompson)Hagen entered Heaven. She was surrounded by her family when she passed away. She was born August 24, 1958 in Arlington, TX to Marijohn Mashburn and Robert Thompson, and is where she spent her formative years.
Melissa was a longtime employee at the iconic restaurant "The Mecca" and was currently employed at The Dallas Diner. She was known for her quirky and infectious sense of humor and her love for her customers and co-workers.
She is survived by her mother, Marijohn Whiten of Farmers Branch, TX; sister, Abby Allison Moore of Kaufman, TX; brother, Michael Boyt of Independence, MO; daughter, Adrian Allison Anderson of Arlington, TX; and her four grandchildren, Blake, Skyler, Riley and Brody.
Melissa was an amazing person who lit up the room when she entered it and she will be greatly missed even by people that never even had the pleasure of knowing her name not to mention her family and a legion of friends who loved her dearly.
Memorial Services will be Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.
