James Stephen Gross, of Garland, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the age of 67. “Steve” was born to parents Harold and Wilodyean Gross on May 25, 1949 in Dallas, Texas. He grew up a middle child, between his older brother Harold Jr. and younger sister Judy. He married his high-school sweetheart, Gloria, on January 4, 2002, to whom he was happily married for over 14 years. Steve had three sons, Scott, Chad and Christopher, and three step-children, Jeremy, Natasha and Mary-Beth, and 11 grandchildren, Corban, Noah, Jacob, Asher, Charlotte, Daphne, Micah, Jackson, Elin, Hazel and Wyatt. Family was most important to Steve and he loved all of them very much!
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Prestonwood Baptist Church and burial will follow at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 1:00 pm. The family is grateful for the condolences, but declines flowers and donations.
