Perry, Ollie Lee
Ā On Sunday, October 23, 2016, with his family by his side, Ollie Lee Perry, 76, was called home.
He was born on July 5, 1940 in Powell, Texas to Ollie and Lucy (Blakely) Perry.Ā He married his wife, Mary Ann in August 1961 and they lived in several places before settling in Amarillo, Texas where Mary Ann passed away after 35 years of marriage.
Ollie is survived by three children; Donna Fox and husband, Joe of Amarillo, Texas; Tiffany Sargent and husband, Brian of McKinney, Texas and Shannon Perry of Amarillo, Texas; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one sister, Sue Johnson of Corsicana, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Ann; and one sister, Elizabeth.
For the last 34 years, Ollie has lived in Amarillo, Texas.Ā Ā He loved to take his family fishing and watch old westerns.
Ollie served his country in the United States Army and was very proud to be a veteran.
