Ragan, Kenneth L.

Kenneth L. Ragan, age 81, of Carrollton, Texas succumbed to Pulmonary Fibrosis on Sunday, November 6, 2016.  He was born in Jonesboro, Texas and lived in Carrollton, Texas for the last 57 years with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Zilpha Ragan and sister, Elsie Bauman.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mildred “Mickey”; sons, Michael (Patty) Ragan, Timothy Ragan, Steven (Heather) Ragan; daughter, Starla (Clinton) Busby; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He drove an 18 wheeler most of his life as he had a love to travel and see the country.

Kenneth left behind many dear friends and was loved by all who met him, as he NEVER met a stranger. He would freely give of his time and help to anyone, anytime.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, November 11, 2016 in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Northside Baptist Church, 2000 North Denton Drive, Carrollton, Texas 75006.

Entombment will be at 3:15 pm at Hilltop Memorial Park and Mausoleum, 1810 North Perry Road, Carrollton, Texas 75006.
