Obituary of Briseno, Gerardo "Lalo"

Gerardo “Lalo” Briseno went to be with the Lord on January 4, 2017 at the age of 82. He was born on October 3, 1934 in Hindes, Texas to Presentacion “Tacho” and Juanita Briseno. Gerardo’s passion was drywall and texture business, which he worked for 60 years. He is survived by the love of his life of 62 years Fortunata Briseno, daughter Celia Slabaugh, son Abel and wife Peggy Briseno, daughter Alamar and husband Barry Harwell, son Oscar and wife Martha Briseno, 6 grandchildren Christopher, Vincent, Steven, Amanda, Ryan and Marcos, 5 great grandchildren Jaiden, Dreya, Grant, Charis and Lorenzo. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and son-in-law Gary. Viewing will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a rosary to follow from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 10:00 am at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 2800 Valwood Pkwy, Farmers Branch, TX 75234.
