Obituary of
Wade, Jean Morgan
Jean Morgan Wade, mother, grandmother and great grandmother went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 28, 2017. Jean was from Stephens County, Oklahoma and her parents were Henry Thurman and Cleo Morgan.
She is survived by her sister, Jeannette Cox; daughter, Ann McKissick; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Sylvia Wade; grandchildren, Sarah Wade, Seth Wade and his wife, Caitlin; and great grandchild, Bruce.
She was preceded by her husband of 61 years, James T. Wade and son-in-law, Albert McKissick.
She has been a faithful member of First Baptist Church Farmers Branch since 1955 serving in many ways, but her true love was caring for the babies in the nursery. Jean delivered for Meals on Wheels for over 25 years. Seth and Sarah have many happy memories of camping with their grandparents.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel at the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.
Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church Farmers Branch, 13017 William Dodson Parkway, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234. Jean will be interred at Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery in a private service.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Farmers Branch, 13017 William Dodson Pkwy., Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.

2nd cousin. Never got to meet Imajean in person, but enjoyed the phone calls, letters, and Christmas cards over the last 10 or so years. She contacted me with her genealogy and off we went. Was fun.

Ms. Wade was a pleasure to meet and visit with.
I’d catch her most mornings at the F.B. Rec Center… walking the track… what a girl, what a pace-setter. She always had a story to share and a lovely smile. Seem to be so full of life, what an inspiration!
I’ll miss seeing her, and I send condolences to the family of this angel.
