Obituary of Warnock Jr., Leslie Lon

Leslie Lon Warnock Jr. of Dallas, Texas passed away onĀ Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the age of 86. Mr. Warnock was born August 10, 1930 in Jacksonville, Florida. He is survived by his wife of 65 and half years, Patricia Ann; two sons, David Warnock and Dean Warnock; one daughter, Michelle Ward; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Mr. Warnock was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army serving from October 1948 until May 1952.Ā  After being discharged from the U.S. Army, he joined the Dallas Fire Department. He served from November 1, 1956 until his retirement on April 6, 1981. Graveside services, with militaryĀ honors, will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 8, 2017Ā at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be atĀ 4:00 pmĀ on June 10, 2017 at the Cornerstone Christian Church, 2700 Christian Parkway, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.
