Gary Vinson, 65, Ā of Dallas, Texas passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017Ā at 10:22 am in McKinney, Texas surrounded by his loving family. Gary enjoyed outside activities with his children.Ā He moved to Texas so they could have a better life.Ā He loved and adored his children.Ā He was so very proud of them.Ā He was an avid sports fan.Ā Any chance he had he watched and played sports.Ā Baseball was his passion.Ā He was a diehard Cubs fan.Ā When they won the world series he was ecstatic.Ā He loved making new friends and visiting his neighbors. He is survived by his children, Todd Vinson (son), Derek Vinson (son), Elizabeth (daughter); brothers, Thomas Jr. Vinson, Ricky Vinson; sisters, Shirley Klemz, Vicki (Don) Mailander, Laura (Dean) Shumacker; and many nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving visitors for visitation and viewing on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm and the Celebration of Life service will begin at 2:00 pm all in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.
