I was very saddened to hear about Jerry’s passing. While I never met him in person, his friendly emails and correspondence at atariage were always something I looked forward to. Deepest sympathies for his family during this time, particularly Barb. She was the architect (and hopefully will continue to be) of some of the most wonderful products that we have in the retro gaming scene. I was only aware of his illness through some brief mentions in email, Jerry wouldn’t complain at all in any case. He went above and beyond when it came to accommodating my requests, and you could tell that when he promised something, he would honour it. I will miss him a lot, and won’t forget him about what he and Barb have done for many of us. God bless him.

I just caught up to this and found out Jerry is gone. I had a chance to meet him in person last year when I bought 4 or 5 classic-gaming dust-covers from him. It was a quick meeting, but he seemed like a great guy. Barb was in the car too. I’m sad to hear of his passing, he added a very real contribution to the retro-gaming community. It was also very nice to know there were like minded folks like Jerry in DFW. I’ll miss him and his posts on AtariAge
