Obituary of
Sultana Jr., Joseph Emanuel
Joseph Emanuel Sultana, Jr, 88, of Farmers Branch, Texas passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 after losing a battle with multiple myeloma cancer. He was born July 21, 1930, in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph and Mary Sultana, the fourth of eight children. He was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Mary Linda Sultana; all his children, Joseph E Sultana III of Pennsylvania and wife AletaAnn, Susan D Willis and husband Austin of Pennsylvania, Michael C Sultana and wife Cristina of Carrollton, Texas, Kathryn L Ulmer and husband Robert of Pennsylvania, Richard E Sultana and wife Lindsay of Bedford, Texas, Charles A Sultana and wife Violet of Colorado, and Jason P Sultana and wife Kathryn of Farmers Branch, Texas.
Joseph is blessed with thirteen grandchildren; Marie and Fritz (Joseph III), Jessica and Sean (Susan), Sonja and Janine (Michael), Ashley and Marc (Kathryn), Luke and Liam (Richard), and Signe, Nathan, Lucy (Jason) and one great grandchild, Ruby (Ashley, Kathryn).
Joseph is also survived by two sisters; Tessie Howard of Michigan and Marion Williams of Utah, two brothers Frank and Victor both of Michigan, and his sister-in-law Josephine Sultana of Florida by his oldest brother Charles Sultana. Charles, Anthony and Emanuel are no longer with us. Joseph was previously married to Alice Mae Fisher Sultana who is also no longer with us but represented by their six children.
Funeral will be held in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710Ā Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234 on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.Ā Joseph willĀ be interred at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at a later date.
