Frances D. Ranieri, 76 of Allen, Texas passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 after a valiant fight with pulmonary hypertension.  She was born on July 4, 1942 in New York, the first of three daughters, where she lived on Motts street in Little Italy before the family moved to Long Island.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Frances Elizabeth Reganato and her father, Bruno Charles Reganato. She is also preceded in death by her dearest niece, Ronnie and nephew, Donald Ranieri whom she loved and adored.  She is survived by her husband, Charles Ranieri, of fifty-eight years, and their four adult children, Michael Ranieri and spouse, Susan Nichelson, Francine Beaulieu and spouse, Richard Beaulieu, Jerianne Ranieri and spouse, Sue Wyll, Toni Ann Ranieri, and Edward Cohen who was a son to her. She spent many years working in sales where she co-operated a large software supply company in Dallas before there ever was an office supply store and she continued to work until her retirement ten years ago. Her proudest work however was her family as she was the glue that brought and kept everyone together.

Dear Jerianne: We were so sorry to learn of your mom's passing. Losing a parent is very difficult. While I didn't know your mom, I know you so she must have been a very special woman. Please accept our condolences and know that we are thinking of you.

To say I’m sorry for your loss doesn’t even begin to capture the feelings I have for all of you. The Ranieri household was synonymous to my childhood and teenage years. I have such fond and funny memories of your mom. She welcomed me as if I was one of her own and never seemed to mind that I was there ALL THE TIME! I love you guys and I am sending prayers for peace and healing during this difficult time. May her memory be a blessing and source of joy for all of you.

When you have been working around grief as long as we have there just doesn't seem to be enough words or ways to say I'm sorry. Please know that I am truly praying daily for you and your family in this loss.

I don’t recall the details of the first time I met Fran, I just remember the sound and the feeling. It was like a south bound New York train full of joy rolled into the place. Her New York accent, her laugh and the smile in her eyes. This is what I know of Fran and what remains with me today.
