I worked with Joan for many years at the Social Security Administration. She was a class act and will be missed by all who knew her.

Joan and I car pooled for several several years when the Social Security office was on Rawlins St. Joan lived in Richardson and I was in Garland. Our lives had many parallels it seemed. She was born in Wellington and I in Shamrock. We both moved to Amarillo and then to the Dallas area around the same time. During our carpool years driving home down Skillman, Joan would comment about the display of all of the pumpkins and her dislike of them. Then we would laugh. After our work places changed, we would meet for dinner usually at a Tex-Mex place. Joan was a dear friend, and she will definitely be missed by those who knew and loved her. May the Lord bring you comfort and your memories of her bring some measure of joy. Praying for your healing during this time of grief, Stella Morris
