Vlad has been a dear coworker, mentor, customer, and friend to me since 2004. We had an very closely interacted relationship during our career life. He was first my disgruntled customer with Veeco, and later his deep knowledge and professionalism made myself and our company much better. We then became peers in Veeco and coworkers again in DCG where I knew he was sick. I really miss the time we always went to Thai Soon for lunch. Thai Soon has been my favorite restaurant since then. We drank some Chinese wine in Shanghai which he thought was the worst ever. Vlad is one of the most influential people in my life. I miss you, Vlad!

I worked closely with Vladimir during my first few years at TI. He was already an experienced researcher at that time so he helped me in several ways: he was a mentor, a collaborator, and a friend. He had a way of challenging ideas that demanded rigor and found flaws, resulting in a stronger approach. Vlad taught me how to use skepticism to make progress in applied physics research. The work we did together is still used in the industry. Vladimir has left a mark in technology and made a positive impact on others. I will miss him.

Vladimir was an honored colleague over the years. We worked together on projects with me being at a vendor company while he was at both TI and Qorvo. He was always honest, competent, smart, amiable, and collaborative. He left sooner than he should, but also left good memories for us to honor and reflect upon.
All the best to his family in this time of trial and loss.

For the past few years I have the honor and privilege to work with Vlad at Qorvo. He was a highly talented individual, motivational team leader, person who takes no for any challenge, and who is available to get thing done round the clock for critical semiconductor manufacturing needs. He will be greatly missed. We pray for his departed soul and for his family to overcome his loss.
