To all of the Maxwell family, our most sincere condolences. Your mother was a warm and caring woman, always a smile and her tinkling laugh. Of course, one of the most beautiful and stylish ladies I know. June and Alice always reminded me of young woman for an era that has long since faded away. Never let anyone see you unless your makeup was on and you dressed to the nines.
We’ll always remember her fondly.
As the Lord welcomes her home, may this bring your family peace and solace.

Rick, Mike, David and Elisa. Its hard to put into words what Alice and Carroll meant to me. I was at their (your) house a lot from about 6th grade thru High School and then I worked for Carroll Construction for 14 years. I considered Alice a second mom all thru school and then I saw her a lot at the office over the next 14 years. She treated me almost like a son, praising me some and scolding me on occasion when needed. Mostly thru the high school years. She was a super nice lady and could REALLY cook chicken fried steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and Leiseur peas. I can almost taste it. I have too many good stories to tell so I will cut it short and just say that Alice will be missed greatly. Prayers and peace to all of the kids, grand-kids, great grand-kids and all of her additional extended family. Love Robert and Debbie McCord

I had not seen Alice in awhile but I remember her as such a happy, kind, and loving soul who adored her family. She was physically beautiful but just as beautiful on the inside. I celebrate her life and the Light she brought to our world; I was blessed to be her friend. My heart goes out to Rick, Eve and the family and I send prayers of comfort and love. ❤️

To our Dallas cousins,we will cherish the time we got to spend with Tia Alice. Our conversations together were priceless. We always felt so loved on our visits and weekly phones calls. The one memory I will truly miss is hearing her say whenever she called “This Aunt Alice from Dallas”. Love & Prayers to all of you.

I am so, so sorry to her about your Mom. She was always so friendly, nice and welcoming. I will always remember my Jr High and High School days spending a lot of time at the Helm’s & Maxwell’s homes and the friendship our families had. I wish I could be there but please know I am giving you a hug and smiling about the great times we had together. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
