Pops was truly one of a kind. For as long as I can remember, one of my favorite things about being around Pops was the fact that I would hear story after story. Most of them were funny but they all had some sort of lesson that was intertwined within them. Pops will always be one of the funniest people I have ever met and I will certainly miss laughing with him. He was also the best tour guide anyone could have ever asked for. We always took the scenic route but I never minded. In fact, I loved taking his scenic routes. Unfortunately, my last visit with Pops was in April. However, I will always be so fortunate and thankful that my last visit was one of my favorite. Pops will be forever missed and always remembered. Love you, Pops!

Uncle Don was the man that made everyone feel special and loved. There are many memories of summer patio days, Don’s famous hamburgers and a house full of family. Don was a gracious man that was the best doughnut shop taxi driver, Christmas light tour guide and the best person to get a hug from in any room. Thank you for the memories and time you spent with me. Much love to Aunt Brenda and family.

Brenda, we were so sorry to hear about Dons passing. He was a good friend. We met for the first time when he was invited to a meeting of similar distributors. (AID). Don was quiet and thoughtful And we weren’t sure what he thought. The next year he was invited back as a member and made a wonderful presentation. We all clapped and cheered. Don smiled and stood up and opened his coat and shirt and was wearing a super man T shirt! We never again had to wonder what Don was thinking. When we became a Spotnails distributor and toured the country to see how the other guys did it our last stop was Southern Staple. Don was a Spotnails Distributor from head to toe including the canned beverages we enjoyed that were Spotnail branded. We got back home and decided we would do it the way Don did. It worked! We recently visited with Don and Brenda and theywere superlative hosts and we had a wonderful visit.
Goodby old friend. You were one of a kind and will be missed.

Don was a very special friend to Spotnails and his loss is felt deeply here among all who worked with him for as far back as 30 years. Personally, I am so thankful to have had more than just a business relationship with Don. I am grateful for the influence he had in my life and the friendship we had together. One of the characteristics I appreciated most about Don was how candid he was with me. He could be blunt at times.. but you always knew where you stood! I will miss you Don and will keep my home open to Brenda if you ever find your way to Chicago!

I got to know Don when I was the regional mgr. for Spotnails. I took Ray Blakeman, the Spotnail president, to visit him. He told us he was in the “bent wire business” and he’d buy from the company with the best price. It was then I knew I liked Don and he was an excellent business man, and also became a great friend. We love both Don & Brenda at the different sales meetings. May you rest in peace. Steve & Jan

I learned a lot from Don he was way ahead of social media with his mailings special by snail mail long before email.
He was the kind of friend that you could call in the middle of the night bring cash tonight and help me dig the hole & hold the
light and never ask why or say anything else about it or even ask when I could pay him
back. Honest hardworking guy we will Miss him. R.I.P. BROTHER
