Obituary of
Parks, Patricia "Patty" Zinsmeyer
Patricia "Patty" Zinsmeyer Parks 1935 to 2019: Born in Syracuse, the only child of Preston and Louise Klink and known to her friends as Patty. Patricia was raised in the Eastwood neighborhood of Syracuse. After graduating from high school, she went on to business school. After graduation Patty went on to work as an administrative assistant at St. Joseph's Hospital where she met her future husband, Lewis Zinsmeyer. They were married in 1956 until Lewis' untimely passing in 1980. Patty took over her husband's business, two Assisted Living Centers in 1980 and was a successful business woman. She moved to Dallas, TX to be with her children in 1996 and lived there until her passing on July 13th of this year. Patty is survived by seven adult children, Peter, Janice, her husband Mark, Jeff, James and Hugh, and his wife Amanda, and five grand children, Heather, Jarred, Dalton, Dylan, and Taylor. Family and Friends are invited to attend services at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, 435 S Main St, North Syracuse on August 31st at 10:00 am, Graveside to follow. Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
