Obituary of
Connor, Shirley
Shirley Connor, 84 passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019 surrounded by her family in Plano, Texas. Born in 1935, Shirley was raised in Plant City, Florida and attended school at the University of Florida where she loved spending time with her sisters in Alpha Chi. Upon moving to Dallas, she married her husband and had two children. Shirley had a passion for gardening and board/card games and was always happiest when sitting with family and chatting. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Edwin Connor, Mother, Beatrice Wilkinson-Connor and her brother, “Chuck” Edwin Connor, Jr. She is survived by her son, Dale Connor; daughter-in-law Cherie Connor; grandchildren: Ashley, Chad, Cristin, Chuck and his wife Jessica Connor; Great grandchildren: Emma, Keith and Sam Connor. Per Shirley’s wishes, there will not be a funeral but a private family memorial will he be held. Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
