Obituary of
Solesbee, William Stephen (Steve)
William Stephen (Steve) Solesbee, age 69 of Dallas, Texas, passed away on Friday afternoon, July 26, 2019.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a burial service will be held at a later date in Vernon, Texas.
Steve graduated from the International School, Manila, Philippines and attended Hardin Simmons University, Abilene, Texas.
He was a gifted pianist and singer who loved to entertain his friends and family with gospel / religious music. One of his favorite songs was “His Eye is On the Sparrow.” Steve was an entrepreneur who found success in the answering service business and flower shops. He loved to travel and found it difficult to stay in one place for long. His last few years were spent moving between Dallas, Brandon, MS, and Honolulu. His travel normally followed the annual seasonal changes since he had been raised in the tropics.
Steve is survived by his sister, Dr. Carol Solesbee, DAOM, his cousins, Carmelita (Sis) Mills and Bennie Kay Davis, who kept up with his travels, and numerous other cousins. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents: Rev. W.A. (Bill) and Ella Ruth (Enloe) Solesbee, and his grandparents.
Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.

Steve was one of a kind. I grew up with him in the Philippines and have wonderful memories of that time. He was president of our senior class at the American School. Carol, you are in my prayers at this most difficult time of losing a big brother.
