Beverly Anne (Ranney) Stringer of Irving, Texas passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, September 22, 2019 in her 74th year. She was born and raised in Council Bluffs, Iowa before moving to Grand Prairie, Texas as an adult. She lived there for many years before moving to Irving, Texas. She worshiped at both Lakeview Baptist Church in Grand Prairie and First Baptist Church Grand Prairie. She attended classes with the Christian Women's Job Corps - Grand Prairie. She worked for many years at Metroplex Care Center and then at Grand Prairie Healthcare (now renamed to Heritage at Turner Park) both in Grand Prairie. Beverly was the much loved mother and mother-in-law of Wayland Stringer and his wife, Shonna Stringer, Patricia Wilson and her husband, Andrew Wilson, all of the DFW Metroplex, and James Stringer, of Sweetwater, Texas. She was the cherished grandmother and grandmother-in-law of Jessica Stringer, Laura Flood and her husband Bret Flood, Michael Wilson and his partner Ravi Sharma, and Mia Wilson, all of the DFW Metroplex. She was great grandmother to Connor and Kayla Flood, and Gabriel and Elliot Haney. Beverly was the beloved daughter of the late Frank and Gladys Ranney of Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was the dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Frank Ranney Jr. and his wife Linda Ranney, Betty McNeal and her husband Bob McNeal, Don Ranney and his wife Betty Ranney, and Gene Ranney, all of Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Rodney Ranney and his wife Nancy Ranney of Oceanside California, and to John Stringer and his wife Becky Stringer of Nolanville, Texas. Beverly will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, October 14th at 6:30 p.m. at Lakeview Baptist Church, 2401 SE 14th St., Grand Prairie, Texas. A graveside service will be held the following morning, October 15, at 10:00 a.m. at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, an expression of sympathy can be made through donations in her honor to Christian Women's Job Corps - Grand Prairie Christian Women's Job Corps Grand Prairie. Alternatively, with her love of butterflies, donations may be made to North American Butterfly Association naba.org
