Priesont, Michael Jay
Michael Jay Priesont, 76, of Dallas, Texas was born November 16, 1942, in Detroit Michigan to Sarah and Sol Priesont. He transitioned to eternity on Wednesday, October 9, 2019.
After graduating from Samuel C. Mumford High School in Detroit, MI on June 23, 1961 he joined the U.S. Army and was Honorable Discharged on June 15, 1964 with a medal of Good Conduct.
Dedicating to raising two daughters on his own. Mike took pride in his daughters and grandchildren’s accomplishments. Mike drove for MTTA for over 20 years and enjoyed meeting new people. Mike had a larger than life personality. Mike would do anything to help a stranger out.
Preceding Mike in death were his parents, and brother Llyod Priesont. Those left to cherish precious memories are his daughters Andrea King (Scott) and Amy James (Max); grandson Daniel King (Christina), grandson Jordan James, granddaughter Rachael Heiter (Jake) and grandson Matthew James; great granddaughter Alexia and great grandsons Julian, Logan and Luke; brother Terry Priesont and Sister In-Law Kathie; Nephew Brandon and Niece Robin (Chip) and great-nephew (Trip).
Celebration service will be November 9th, 1-3pm (open house style) with a prayer being at 2:00 pm at 9632 Bryson Drive, Dallas , Tx 75238
