Hogue, Mark Charles
Mark Charles Hogue passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the age of 92. He was known as "Grumpy" by his grandchildren and "Uncle Mark" by his nieces and nephews.Ā Born on June 27, 1927 in Seymour, Texas to Harmon Weaver Hogue and Therella Pauline Moore he lived most of his life in Houston, Texas.Ā He married Lila B. Nickerson in May of 1952 and they had 5 children.Ā He worked most of his life laying hardwood floors or doing carpentry work. He is survived by his brother, George Albert Hogue; sons, Marshall Hogue and Daniel Hogue; daughters, Barbara Taylor and Becky Hogue Miller.Ā He had 6 children, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren.Ā He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lila; stepmother, Ila Styles Hogue; and two sons, David Earl Hogue and Michael Wayne Hogue. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Cache Creek Cemetery in Seymour, Texas. Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
