I am so sorry for your loss. I haven’t seen the Adame family in decades. Carmen and I were best buddies in elementary school. I remember Mr.Adame was always listening to music in the car and singing along. That’s the memory that has always stuck out in my mind as a kid. Praying for your family.

Art was one of the great friends of my life. He took me under his wing when I was a baby engineer at the power company. He taught me the ropes of company politics and together we created a lifetime of memories as truly great friends. Love you brother and know that we will proudly carry your legacy.

Arthur (“Grand-paw” as we knew him) was the kindest, sweetest man. He always had the most positive things to say about my boys.. He was also such a proud grandpa who loved being around family. He will be greatly missed! Sending hugs and prayers to his sweet family.

My Uncle Arthur was the younger version of my father. He reminds me a lot of him. I enjoyed hearing his Marine stories and life experiences. He was a good dancer/singer. His passion for music was impeccable. GOD be with you Uncle Arthur. Our prayers to the family.

I treasure the memories that were created over the years working with Art at Oncor. As a colleague, he was recognized as a true professional with a keen eye for detail who took ownership of his areas of responsibility. As a friend, he will be remembered for his loyalty, his love, his ability to understand and appreciate the human condition - but especially for his enormous sense of humor. Any time you needed a laugh, Art had one for you (and even when you didn't)! Even after his retirement, I would love getting an unexpected text message or voicemail from him - with some witticism that would leave me in stitches. (The most recent was November 30, and as I re-read it just now, I'm in hysterics all over again). In this short span of time called LIFE, the truly blessed are those of us who have had friends such as Art: a friend you can confide in, one you can trust, one who can make you laugh, one who makes your day go better just by being there, and who helps you make sense of LIFE itself. For my friendship with Art, I feel truly blessed.
