Obituary of Naugher, Mitcheal Carter

Mitcheal Carter Naugher was born on December 26, 1935, on the family farm in Denton County, Texas to J.C. and Audie Naugher.  He passed into God’s presence on February 8, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents.  He was also preceded in death by sisters, Billye Jo Myers and Bobbie Moody and brothers, Dr. Jimmie Naugher and Rev. Wayne Naugher. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years Barbara Ann Naugher, son Mark Naugher and his wife Mariella. Daughter Michelle and her husband Michael Cisneros.  He is also survived by two loved grandchildren Macie Naugher and Luke Mitcheal Cisneros and numerous nieces and nephews. After graduating from Denton High School in 1955, he joined the United States Navy.  He proudly served in the Navy as a Seabee, assisting with construction and maintenance projects on Naval bases in the Pacific.  After his service in the Navy, he worked various sales jobs, which eventually took him to Austin, TX, where he met the love of his life Barbara Castellow.  They married in September of 1970 and moved to Farmers Branch soon after. Mitcheal was an active member of Valwood Park Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, taught Sunday School and volunteered in various task at the church. His family will receive friends on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at  Valwood Park Baptist Church, 2727  Valwood Parkway, Farmer Branch, TX, 75234 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 p.m. A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 14th at Valwood Park Baptist Church.  Pastor Jerry Hays will officiate. Mitcheal will be laid to rest on Monday, February 17th at 11:15 a.m. at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas 75211. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Valwood Park Baptist Church Student and Children Ministries. Family wants to thank you to the Heart to Heart Hospice of Carrollton for their great care givers. Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
