“I highly recommend this funeral home and crematorium; when I had to make and pay for my brother’s arrangements across state lines, Evelyn Montonya, in particular, demonstrated both compassion and professionalism and made a very sad and difficult situation much easier. Many thanks.”
I was so lucky to know both Barbara and Art. I called Bingo at The Bentley and getting to them was a real treat. Barbara was always funny and witty and smart. When I’d call “N-40…as in my age…40…” she’d always reply, “Oh, sure!” She was a pleasure to know. We got to go to lunch with her a couple of times, with Susan Ashmore, who called bingo before me, and we had fun times and great conversations about the airline biz. My husband is also a pilot for Delta. She sent me a fruitcake once for Christmas so I always think of her when we have fruitcake. She was an amazing lady and I’m glad I knew her. Peace and love to your families. I just bet you have lots of fun stories and memories to help you all through this sad time. Ciao for now! B

Dear Miller Family, I was so sorry to hear of your Barbara’s passing. She and Art meant so much to my Dad and his wife, June. I know that had trips together and a lifetime of fun and aviation of course. It is hard to believe she is gone. You will be in my prayers. Thanks for all she and Art did for Dad and June. By the way, I am Harold Miller’s daughter. Blessings to you all.

I am very saddened to learn of Barbara’s passing. I met her and Art when I was volunteering as a bingo caller at The Bentley. I volunteered there for around five years. I so enjoyed seeing them every week “Barb” (as I knew her) would always sit between Art and a friend of theirs, Wayne, and help them both keep up with all the bingo cards. I loved them. I will miss her funny stories, huge heart, wit, and warm hugs. My condolences to her family. I know she is missed.

I only knew Barbara for a few years, but she was a touch of “back home” for me. We talked about Massachusetts and everyday life here in Texas. I loved her no nonsense approach to life; and the longer I knew her, I would wish I had known her that much longer, because she was so interesting. What an amazing woman; she will always be missed. So sorry for your loss but Barbara lived a GREAT life right next door to us. Hank, Jimmy and Glen and Kirk and me have so many many memories via Warick Drive. Please one of you let me know when the Memorial Service is confirmed and Kirk and I will be there. Love to ALL!

My Nana is one of the best role models I could ever have had growing up.
She taught me to be strong and confident in who I am. She taught me to love others as I would love myself. To care for loved ones no matter what. That family is the most important thing, no matter if they are blood or not.
She raised me to never give up on my hopes and dreams. She always told me to have faith, to be strong, and to work hard. She will always be remembered anytime I sing or play from now on. She taught me how to have a voice in this world. I will never forget it!
My Condolences go to my family and her friends going through this tough time! May they always remember that Nana is watching over us, making sure to save us a seat to watch Papaw play in Heaven’s Banjo Band.
Sincerely, her singing grandson, Taylor D. Coffin
