Obituary of Avila, Maria Luisa

Maria Luisa Avila, 75, of Dallas, Texas went to be with the Lord on May 21, 2020.  Maria was born on October 18, 1944 in St. Johns, Michigan, the daughter of late Francisca Carreno.  She was the oldest of 11 children, one brother preceded in her death and was raised in Brownsville, Texas by her grandparents, Maria leaves to cherish her loving memory by her husband Javier Avila 78, of Dallas, her son, Francisco Avila 44, of The Colony, and her daughter Leticia Avila David 42, of Farmers Branch; her grandsons, Isaiah and Mario David of Farmers Branch; three sisters from Arizona; three brothers and two sisters from Idaho; one sister from Virginia; one sister from Washington; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Maria was a devoted mother, wife and friend. She loved to read her bible and spending time with family and friends.  She was a loving and caring person and always wearing a smile on her face.  She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. A memorial service will be held on Friday May 29^th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.
